On 7th November the Cyprus Historic & Classic Vehicle Club and the Cyprus Historic & Classic Motor Museum in Limassol organized with a great success the 2nd Limassol Anti-Cancer Classic Regularity Challenge. The aim of the event was to financially support the free Palliative Care services of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society.
The challenge started at 10:00 a.m. from the Cyprus Historic & Classic Motor Museum The 1st leg of the challenge, with a total distance of 26.5km, started from the Cyprus Historic & Classic Motor Museum towards Zakaki-Kolossi-Polemidia and return to the Museum. The 2nd leg of the race with a total distance of 31.5 km, started from the Cyprus Historic & Classic Motor Museum towards Limassol-East, Castle-Molos-Enaerios-Linopetra-Germasogeia and return to the Museum.
The 3rd leg started from the Museum with all the cars going in a convoy and finishing at 14:30 at the Old Port Square, where the Mayors of Limassol and Mesa Geitonia presented the awards to the winners and a lot of people had the opportunity to see and be photographed with the cars.
In the effort to support the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society and contribute to their cause, the organizers decided that this year’s Regularity challenge will be for classic (over 25 years old) and also non-classic vehicles (less than 25 years old). More than 130 people took part in the 2nd Limassol Anti-Cancer Classic Regularity Challenge.
Preparations have already begun for the 3rd Limassol Anti-Cancer Classic Regularity Challenge that is planned for 6th November2022.
